In Memory of

Jay was born on October 7, 1950 and passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017.

Jay was a resident of Valley City, North Dakota at the time of passing.

He was a graduate from St. Catherine's High School. He later attended Valley City State University and graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul Minnesota.

He served in the Army as a door gunner with D-Troop, 1st Squadron, 1st Cavalry in Vietnam from 1970 to 1971. He received an honorable discharge in 1971.

A prayer service and memorial service will be held in August after his son returns from deployment.

Memorial donations in Jay's name may be made to the Barnes County Historical Museum.
