Accident Summary:

AIRCRAFT ON VISUAL RECON OF A RAVINE, LOST POWER AND PILOT INTIATED AUTOROTATION. THE PILOT NEGOTIATED THE AIRCRAFT ONTO A STREAM BANK BARELY MISSING A LARGE BOULDER. UPON TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED A SMALL DENT IN THE RIGHT FUSELAGE AND THE MAIN ROTOR BLADE STRUCK A SMALL TREE. THE AIRCRAFT RECOVERY WAS DELAYED UNTIL AN ENGINEER AND TEAM COULD CLEAR THE AREA OF TREES DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER AND ROUGH TERRAIN. AIRCRAFT WAS RECOVERED AND IS UNDERGOING INSPECTION.\\
